Elektrobit has joined SDVerse to make its open source operating systems and automotive software portfolio more accessible, helping automakers speed up software-defined vehicle development.

Elektrobit has joined SDVerse, the automotive industry’s first B2B marketplace for software, bringing its open-source-driven portfolio to a single transparent platform for OEMs and suppliers. The move is designed to accelerate the development of software-defined vehicles by expanding access to Elektrobit’s proven technologies and enabling faster, more efficient procurement.

By joining SDVerse, Elektrobit aims to make its extensive software range more easily discoverable, support shorter development cycles, and strengthen its position as a trusted partner in the global transition to software-defined mobility. The company’s participation enhances SDVerse’s open-ecosystem philosophy by integrating open-source operating systems and interoperable software components into the marketplace.

Elektrobit’s core offerings available on SDVerse include EB corbos with Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware, open source operating systems and AUTOSAR middleware for Android; EB tresos for AUTOSAR-compliant basic software and ECU configuration; EB robinos for automated driving and ADAS integration; EB zoneo for scalable and secure in-vehicle communication; and EB zentur for comprehensive automotive cybersecurity.

Its engineering and integration services cover ECU development, AUTOSAR integration, ADAS and automated driving software, connected vehicle cloud infrastructure, user experience design including Alexa and Android Automotive, verification and validation, and cybersecurity lifecycle maintenance.

With decades of expertise across operating systems, middleware, embedded software and cockpit solutions, Elektrobit strengthens SDVerse’s mission to simplify software discovery and procurement for next-generation vehicles.

Christoph Herzig, Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director of Elektrobit, said: “More than ever before, collaboration is the catalyst for change.”
“By joining SDVerse, we are embracing a new, open way of doing business – one that will allow us to share Elektrobit’s software expertise more broadly and co-create value with innovators across the automotive ecosystem. The transition toward software-defined mobility must be a collaborative effort, and through SDVerse we aim to help automakers deliver smarter, safer, and more sustainable vehicles.”
