Liquid Reply Steps Into Open Source Agentic AI Through Linux Foundation–Backed AAIF

Liquid Reply has joined the Linux Foundation–launched Agentic AI Foundation to help build open, vendor-neutral standards for production-ready agentic AI.

Liquid Reply has joined the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), a newly established initiative launched under the auspices of the Linux Foundation to advance open, trusted, and vendor-neutral agentic AI development.

AAIF provides a neutral open governance framework for building agent-based AI systems, bringing members together to collaborate transparently on tools, protocols, and specifications that remain available as open source resources for the global community. The foundation is positioned as a steward for standardisation at a time when enterprises face growing fragmentation across large language models, applications, and operational systems.

Through its membership, Liquid Reply will actively participate in the AAIF community to support the creation of open standards for the next generation of AI-powered applications. The move reinforces the company’s commitment to open source and community-driven innovation, while strengthening enterprise adoption of agentic AI from experimentation through to production deployment.

AAIF brings together established open source projects such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Goose, and AGENTS.md. These initiatives enable standardised interaction between large language models and diverse applications, as well as clearly defined instructions for AI models. The foundation ensures these projects continue to evolve under a vendor-neutral governance model, reducing ecosystem lock-in risks for enterprises.

Liquid Reply supports organisations across industries in building flexible, scalable, and sovereign AI platforms. The company uses open technologies such as MCP to enable standardised interaction between LLMs and enterprise applications, data sources, and operational systems in complex production environments.

AAIF’s community includes leading technology companies such as AWS, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Oracle, Salesforce, and SAP, collectively advancing interoperable, production-ready agent-based AI within an open framework.
