Open Assessment Technologies has officially launched TAO Community Edition (TAO CE), a free, open source digital assessment platform designed to empower institutions and developers with long-term control over their assessment infrastructure.
Distributed under the AGPLv3 license, TAO CE is built to evolve through shared community contribution rather than closed, vendor-managed roadmaps. The newly established TAO Community Forum serves as the primary space for collaboration, technical discussion, and governance, allowing contributors to directly shape the platform’s development.
