Corpus OS Releases Open Source Protocol Suite To Standardise LLM, Vector, Graph And Embedding Stacks

Interoperable Intelligence Inc. has open sourced Corpus OS under Apache 2.0 to standardise AI infrastructure and eliminate framework lock-in, enabling developers to build once and run across six major AI ecosystems.

Interoperable Intelligence has released Corpus OS as open source under the Apache 2.0 licence, positioning it as the first production-grade protocol suite designed to standardise AI infrastructure and deliver true interoperability across frameworks and providers. All protocols, specifications, and conformance tests are permanently open, aiming to create a vendor-neutral, community-governed foundation comparable to a Linux-style layer for AI.

The move targets a persistent industry problem: framework fragmentation. Applications built on one stack often cannot integrate with another, and switching providers typically requires costly rewrites. Corpus OS addresses this with a protocol-first architecture spanning four domains—LLM, vector, graph, and embedding—defining 33 primitive operations with unified observability, tracing, error handling, and type contracts. The promise: write once, run on any framework or provider.

Corpus OS delivers 100% interoperability across six ecosystems: LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, and Model Context Protocol.
All frameworks passed 3,330 conformance tests with a 100% success rate, with results published on GitHub alongside adapters and RFC-quality specifications.

“Six frameworks that couldn’t talk to each other. Half a million developers were forced to duplicate development if they wanted to switch ecosystems. That changes today, as Corpus unifies them all,” said Appo Agbamu, Founder and CEO.
The company also offers Corpus Router, an enterprise layer for multi-model routing, cost and performance optimisation, and production reliability.
