TheSSS receives updated LAMP components

TheSSS (The Smallest Server Suite) the lightweight Linux distribution has received an update today. The new update is the first bug fix release of TheSSS v22 and supports a wide range of servers.

In the list of changes in TheSSS 22.1, the platform comes with major updated LAMP components that include Linux kernel 4.9.33 LTS, Apache 2.4.27, MariaDB 10.2.7 and PHP 7.0.21. The update also brings Postfix 3.2.2 SMTP server and OpenSSH 7.5p1 SSH.

The lightweight server suite distribution has security-oriented components like Clam Antivirus (ClamAV) and iptables-based 4MLinux firewall. Furthermore, the new version is based on 4MLinux server 22.1.

Created by 4MLinux creator Zbigniew Konojacki, TheSSS project is known for the fast performance and quick access. It supports most available servers, including HTTP, FTP, SFTP, Telnet, SSH, SMTP, MySQL and DNS. Additionally, the platform features a proxy server called Polipo. This proxy server is widely used for integrating with Tor anonymous network.

You can download TheSSS 22.1 from its official website. Moreover, the platform is easily deployable from a USB drive.
