SUSE is partnering with Microsoft to help in mission-critical workloads for the SAP HANA environments up to 60 TB in size
SUSE, a Germany-based open source software company, announced the availability of first enterprise Linux image for SAP HANA Large Instances on Microsoft Azure.
SUSE’s Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications image on Azure offers an enhanced customer experience by providing consistent build and management capabilities on Azure.
The company is working with Microsoft and the community to bring enterprise-grade Linux and related solutions that allow customers to develop, deploy and manage the workloads anywhere with excellent service, flexibility and value.
Commenting on the development, Daniel Nelson, Vice President – Products and Solutions, SUSE, said, “This is a customer-driven solution jointly developed with Microsoft to provide the advanced high availability and storage security for SAP HANA Large Instances that customers need.”
