Meet the Red Hat Winners of Korea
We already met the Red Hat Innovation Awards 2026 for Japan previously; here we introduce the winners for Korea: BC Card and KEPCO KDN. Both of these companies are the awardees for the theme ‘Unlock what’s next’ across Asia Pacific for using Red Hat solutions to solve business challenges.
Here is how they are making a difference:
BC Card: This is using a Red Hat-powered AI platform that has cut GPU costs by 70% and helped boost speed up to threefold, and also saved 1,02,000 work hours annually.
KEPCO KDN: It mostly focuses on Red Hat technologies to cut software rollout times from days to minutes and boosts efficiency and minimises mistakes.
What’s the key takeaway from these winners? Both BC Card and KEPCO KDN show how costs can be cut and optimal time management can be achieved with smarter technologies.
