Nebius has unveiled AI Cloud 3.6, introducing Echo, a cloud infrastructure assistant powered by open-source AI models. The release also expands SkyPilot support, security controls, and storage performance for enterprise AI deployments.

Nebius has launched AI Cloud 3.6, headlined by Nebius Echo, an AI-powered infrastructure assistant that enables natural-language control of cloud resources using open-source AI models hosted on the company’s Token Factory inference platform.

Integrated into the Nebius AI Cloud web console, Echo allows users to ask infrastructure questions, execute cloud operations through conversational prompts, and manage resources without navigating complex interfaces. Built-in guardrails help prevent unintended actions. Nebius said future versions will add infrastructure debugging capabilities and support for multi-step Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments, advancing its vision of an agentic AI cloud.

The release also strengthens support for open-source infrastructure tooling through a Managed Service for SkyPilot, offering deeper integration, one-click access, and eliminating the need to maintain a SkyPilot control plane. Additional developer-focused enhancements include Global Search, a Unified Notification Center, a redesigned instance creation workflow, and an updated pricing calculator.

Nebius is also opening an early preview of its Builder Program, providing cloud credits, access to Nebius Academy, engineer office hours, and a builder community. Participants will receive early access to the new AI Cloud Ops (Associate) certification programme.

For enterprise deployments, AI Cloud 3.6 introduces customer-managed encryption keys, cryptographic erasure, Workload Identity Federation, expanded Kubernetes and IAM controls, BYOI support, budgeting tools, and Datadog integration.

The update further boosts AI infrastructure performance with local SSDs on GPU servers, intelligent storage tiering, up to 100× higher IOPS for metadata-heavy workloads, and validated shared filesystem clusters scaling to 100PB, alongside support for Kubernetes v1.34.
