TrueFoundry has acquired Seldon AI, bringing Seldon Core’s open-source MLOps foundation together with agentic AI governance capabilities to help enterprises manage ML models, LLMs, and AI agents through a unified Kubernetes-native platform.

TrueFoundry has acquired Seldon AI, bringing one of the industry’s leading open-source AI deployment platforms into its enterprise AI infrastructure portfolio and creating a unified pathway for organisations looking to scale agentic AI on existing Kubernetes environments.

The acquisition combines Seldon’s production-grade open-source MLOps foundation with TrueFoundry’s AI Gateway platform, enabling enterprises to manage traditional machine learning models, large language models (LLMs), and autonomous AI agents through a single control plane. Existing Seldon customers gain a low-disruption migration path to agentic AI capabilities without replacing their current infrastructure.

A key differentiator is the companies’ shared Kubernetes-native and cloud-agnostic architecture, allowing enterprises to preserve existing operational investments while blending predictive models with LLMs and AI agents.

At the centre of the deal is Seldon Core, the company’s open-source platform for real-time inference, A/B testing, canary rollouts, and observability, which has become a foundational component of enterprise AI deployments.

“Enterprise AI teams are running traditional ML and agentic workflows side by side and managing them as two separate infrastructure problems,” said Nikunj Bajaj, Co-Founder and CEO of TrueFoundry. “Seldon built the production-grade MLOps foundation that the world’s most demanding enterprises rely on. TrueFoundry brings the control plane for the Agentic AI world, and together we give enterprise teams one place to deploy, observe, and govern Agentic AI at every stage.”

The acquisition follows TrueFoundry’s launch of Agent Gateway and addresses growing enterprise challenges around governance duplication, monitoring gaps, and operational complexity across AI environments.

“This acquisition gives our customers a leapfrog opportunity a single platform that handles everything from real-time ML inference to the ability to now accelerate our clients’ agentic AI needs,” said Mark Stripp, VP GTM of Seldon AI.
