Prismatic is shifting its business focus from raw connector counts to high-scale operational integration infrastructure in the age of AI.

On 17 June 2026, embedded iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) Prismatic open-sourced its entire library of pre-built Application Connector and Data Platform components under the Apache-2.0 license, making the code freely available for developers to read, fork, and extend.

The code hosted on a public GitHub repository (github.com/prismatic-io/components), automatically synchronises with Prismatic’s internal production code on every release, ensuring it remains identical to active production versions. This allows B2B software developers to utilise the codebase as a baseline reference framework to clone, fork, and custom-extend existing enterprise connectors (such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and HubSpot), or build unique integration blocks from scratch.

Prismatic’s co-founder and CEO, Michael Zuercher, explained that raw connector counts have ceased to be a true business differentiator. Because generative AI tools can easily point to an API’s documentation and “scaffold a working connector in an afternoon,” the marginal cost of creating them is rapidly approaching zero.

The public, production-grade codebase directly complements Prismatic Skills (the platform’s native AI developer copilot). By giving AI development agents direct access to real, battle-tested component implementations, the models can reference exact, production-ready architectural patterns rather than guessing structures based solely on raw, third-party API documentation.
