Neo4j has announced the appointment of Ish Thukral as General Manager for India and the SAARC region, further reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on the subcontinent. Operating from New Delhi, Thukral will oversee the regional expansion of Neo4j’s operations, with a strong emphasis on growing customer engagements and building a robust partner network.
With over 20 years in the enterprise tech industry, Thukral has held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle, and Ingram Micro. Across these organisations, he was closely involved in developing growth strategies, supporting ecosystem development, and driving customer success across high-growth segments.
Thukral’s role comes at a key moment for Neo4j, which formalised its India entity in 2024. His appointment is part of a broader effort to scale the company’s regional footprint in 2025, including new hires across sales, partner operations, and field roles. This expansion is aligned with the rising adoption of graph database solutions across critical sectors such as banking and financial services, telecom, and public sector enterprises.
