Cryptex Finance has launched CRYPTEX 40, a fully transparent, community-governed index tracking the top digital assets, establishing open source, on-chain verification as a new benchmark standard for global crypto markets.
Cryptex Finance has introduced CRYPTEX 40, the first fully verifiable on-chain index designed to benchmark the digital asset market with complete transparency. Tracking 40 leading digital assets, the index represents approximately 85 per cent of global crypto market capitalisation, providing an institutional-grade reference point for investors, custodians, and financial platforms.
Built on Ethereum and powered by Chainlink Data Feeds and Chainlink Proof of Reserve, CRYPTEX 40 ensures that all index components and Net Asset Value calculations are continuously validated through decentralised and tamper-resistant data infrastructure. Every asset weight, data source, and rebalance event is publicly auditable on-chain, enabling open inspection at any time.
The index is governed through the Cryptex DAO, where CTX token holders oversee rule updates and index management, ensuring neutral, decentralised, and community-driven oversight. Its construction follows rigorous institutional indexing methodologies suited for use in market benchmarking, tokenised index products, and professional investment frameworks.
Joe Sticco, Co-founder of Cryptex Finance, said: “For the first time, the world can see a digital-asset index that’s completely transparent. Built on Ethereum, verified by Chainlink, and governed by its community of CTX holders, CRYPTEX 40 represents years of work to bring institutional-grade standards to decentralized infrastructure. It’s more than an index — it’s proof that open source technology can define the next generation of global benchmarks.”
The launch positions open source, on-chain transparency as a new global standard, replacing opaque benchmark systems with verifiable, community-governed financial infrastructure.
