Tachyum has open-sourced its Prodigy instruction set architecture (ISA) and platform, giving developers access to the architecture for software development and optimisation. The move allows developers to work with the Prodigy platform for software adoption, development, porting, optimisation and validation.
With the platform now open source, developers can build applications for the architecture and optimise and validate their software during the development cycle.
Making the platform available as open source also allows developers to work directly with the architecture outside Tachyum’s development environment, supporting broader software development around Prodigy.
The release also enables developers to port existing software applications to the platform, assess compatibility and optimise their code for the architecture.
