Zendesk, Inc., a leading customer service software company, announced the launch of Zendesk Sunshine, an open and flexible new customer relationship management (CRM) platform, which is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The new open CRM platform enables businesses to connect and understand all their customer data and provides their developers the capability to develop and deploy customer applications and services quicker, the company said in a statement.

The scalability, security and reliability of AWS is powered into the Sunshine core, making the platform more flexible, open and modern as compared to traditional platforms. With this new CRM, businesses can now get the cloud benefits for easy and speedily shifting data between Sunshine and their applications and systems.
Speaking on the launch, Adrian McDermott, President of Products, Zendesk, said, “Most of our customers are already running their businesses on, or considering a move to, AWS. By working with AWS, Zendesk can give companies the ability to integrate and connect data from various sources to understand their customers better and personalize their journey.”
