Crust Technology Releases A 100 Per cent Open Source Unified Work Platform

Crust provides a flexible, self-hosted platform that enables organisation to work and communicate internally while engaging with its customers, suppliers, partners and other third parties externally

Ireland-based Crust Technology Ltd has announced the release of Crust, a “100 per cent” open source Unified Work platform.

According to the company, Crust is a self-hosted platform deployed via standard Docker packages. It says that the first release of Crust delivers –

  • Crust CRM – a state-of-the-art Customer Relationship Management based on the features and functionality of Salesforce cloud service.
  • Crust Enterprise Messaging -An Enterprise Messaging based on the features of and functionality of the Slack cloud service.
  • Crust Unify – A responsive workspace that will allow business to extend and manage third party web applications from within Crust, much like one can do in Microsoft Office365 or Google G Suite.

The second release of Crust is slated in three months, and it will contain: Compose – A Low Code Development platform for delivering advanced, records-based web applications at a fraction of the cost and Crust Mobile – Crust for Android and iPhone devices.
