EZ BSP provides a production-ready software foundation for Ezurio system-on-modules, combining security features with long-term software support.

Ezurio has introduced EZ BSP, a Board Support Package designed to provide a common software foundation across its system-on-module (SOM) platforms. The software layer sits between silicon-vendor board support packages and the applications, helping developers build and maintain production systems.

EZ BSP emphasises security and reproducibility in software development. It provides capabilities such as reproducible Yocto builds, Hardware Root of Trust provisioning, verified boot, and integrity checks for over-the-air updates. Ezurio also offers a five-year binary guarantee for its software, supporting extended product lifecycles.

The software foundation is designed to support SOM platforms based on processors from companies such as NXP, Texas Instruments, and MediaTek. Ezurio’s SOM portfolio combines EZ BSP with security features including secure enclaves, secure boot, signed images, and encrypted certificate provisioning.

EZ BSP is intended to simplify software maintenance throughout a product’s lifecycle by providing developers with a common software foundation across SOM platforms. Ezurio also supports long-term software availability and over-the-air updates, helping products remain supported throughout their operational life.
