An AI-native humanoid robot, alongside OpenBridge, an open-source ecosystem designed to let developers build, share and develop new robot capabilities.
Zeroth has launched Bridge, a compact AI-native embodied robot designed for real-world development and experimentation. Alongside the robot, the company introduced OpenBridge, a fully open-source ecosystem for embodied intelligence that aims to give developers a shared environment for creating, testing and distributing robot capabilities.
Bridge stands 88 cm tall and weighs approximately 13 kg, combining a compact humanoid form with 30-40 cm arms and two-finger grippers. The robot is designed to provide stable bipedal walking, obstacle avoidance and a library of natural movements and choreography. Zeroth describes its architecture as AI-native, with its hardware, motion system and developer interfaces built for AI-driven physical interaction rather than relying only on fixed, pre-programmed movements.
Developers will have access to the underlying SDKs, open motion-control APIs and motion-capture and VR integration. These tools are intended to allow users to deploy custom algorithms, tune the robot for specific scenarios and create personalised skills and behaviours. The approach gives developers greater flexibility to experiment with embodied AI and physical robot interactions.
The newly launched OpenBridge ecosystem is intended to connect Bridge with a broader open-source developer community. It provides unified development tools, shared training resources and a public Skill Hub, allowing developers to contribute, share and build upon robot capabilities created by others. Zeroth’s goal is to move robot development towards a more collaborative model in which capabilities can be developed by the wider community rather than remaining isolated within individual robotic systems.
Zeroth has also introduced the Bridge Builder Program to bring developers into the OpenBridge ecosystem. In its first phase, 500 developers will be shortlisted for a co-creation challenge, with the top 200 receiving complimentary access to Bridge. The remaining 300 participants will receive priority access to purchase the Bridge Geek Edition, along with SDK access and eligibility for future programme opportunities. The first batch of the Bridge Geek Edition is also being made available to developers and technology enthusiasts.
