Checkmarx Appoints Razi Sharir as Chief Product Officer

Checkmarx has announced that it has appointed Razi Sharir as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Bringing over 20 years of experience in developing and scaling SaaS platforms and products, Sharir will accelerate the delivery of Checkmarx’s next-gen cloud AST vision to help organizations better integrate security into DevOps to reduce AppSec risk

Sharir joins Checkmarx from Tableau Software (a Salesforce company), where he served as vice president of product management, data.There he established and drove the company’s cloud transition strategy, while also managing its data and metadata flows. Prior to this, Sharir spent multiple years at Informatica as vice president of products, overseeing its data management and integration strategies and iPaaS implementation initiatives.

Sharir earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the City University of Seattle and a Master of Arts degree in philosophy from Tel Aviv University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
