outboundIQ’s Ryan Shatzkamer released genesys-mcp that lets enterprise administrators compose, diagram, and deploy Genesys Cloud call flows in seconds using plain-English AI prompts.
On 24 August 2026, Ryan Shatzkamer, Director of Technical Services at contact center technology firm outboundIQ, has released genesys-mcp, an open-source tool that allows Genesys Cloud administrators to build, diagram, and publish contact center call flows using plain-English prompts with AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT.
The software is free, released under the MIT License, carries no external dependencies, and is hosted publicly on GitHub. In a live demonstration, the tool generated a complete greeting and interactive routing flow, including creating required queues and drawing a visual diagram inside the chat window, and published it live into Genesys Architect in about ten seconds.
The release includes 25 tools covering queues, skills, users, wrap-up codes, and full Architect call flows. It can also automatically generate visual flow diagrams of existing call structures for instant system documentation. It generates native Archy YAML and pushes configurations through Genesys’s native CX as Code flow-jobs pipeline. Text-to-speech audio is defined inline, removing the need to record or upload separate voice files.
The tool contains no delete capabilities, meaning even direct API calls cannot delete existing configurations. Call flows are held in preview mode and will not publish until a human approves the generated diagram. The tool runs locally within the user’s own Cloudflare account using OAuth 2.1 authentication, ensuring enterprise credentials never leave the organization’s infrastructure. It deploys via an in-browser setup wizard rather than requiring command-line/terminal installation.
