Aiming to help customers drive enterprise growth and operational experience, SUSE onboards industry veteran Marshal Correia to lead the APAC region.

SUSE has named Marshal Correia as General Manager for India and South Asia on June 18, 2026. Correia brings over four decades of experience to the OSS company.

He was previously Vice President and General Manager, India and SAARC at Red Hat. He also held senior leadership roles at DXC Technology, HPE, Compaq, and Digital Equipment Corporation, leading large businesses across India, Asia, and global markets. He additionally served as a Vision and Strategy Council Member with APMP India.

This comes with SUSE’s digital resiliency research, published in the ‘Navigating Digital Resilience 2026 report’ and the ‘Cloud and AI Pulse Survey’, that highlights India as a global leader in active digital sovereignty. The research states that 62% of Indian enterprises are already investing in sovereign technologies compared to the 52% global average.

“South Asia is a huge hub for open source and technological development, and AI has only underscored the immense need for open source to act as an engine for collaborative innovation,” said Correia.

He continued  “SUSE’s integrated portfolio brings together the best of enterprise and community technology. Its conviction towards transparency and true choice is genuine, and I look forward to collaborating with the team and pushing boundaries to drive growth.”

SUSE highlights the need for transparent, secure, and vendor-neutral infrastructure being a priority. SUSE provides solutions to enterprises with its open source software products.
