MongoDB hires industry veteran Aamir Sait to scale its India business, deepen developer engagement, and accelerate AI-driven transformation.
MongoDB has appointed Aamir Sait as Area Vice President for India, signalling a major push to strengthen its local presence and advance AI innovation through open-source technology. In his new role, Sait will focus on scaling MongoDB’s India business, deepening customer and partner relationships, and supporting the rapid adoption of AI-ready applications.
India’s large developer community and status as a global software development hub make it a key market for MongoDB. Leading organisations such as SonyLIV, EY, Tata Digital, BharatPe, Zomato, Axis Bank, Zepto, and Adani Digital already leverage MongoDB’s AI-ready document platform, MongoDB Atlas, to modernise application stacks and accelerate time-to-market for AI solutions. Key customers innovating with MongoDB include IntellectAI, Ambee, IGT Solutions, and IndiaDataHub.
